2021 Palau 20$ Tiffany Art Metropolis - Paris Ag

This amazing coin is the first in the “Tiffany Art” series to feature famous urban landscapes. And the first city, which was decided to be honoured is the City of Love – Paris. The reverse shows the French capital from a bird’s-eye view highlighting selected buildings like the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and the Arc de Triomphe. You can easily lose yourself in the highly detailed huge road network thanks to the enhanced smartminting technology.

The obverse pictures one of the most ornate and extravagant bridges of Paris – the Pont Alexandre III. With its prominent sculptures and elements, this bridge is classified as a French “monument historique”. The Tiffany Art glass, which the series is known for, is done in a completely new way. The way the turquoise-coloured glass appears to literally divide the coin in half is a groundbreaking achievement of numismatic craftsmanship.
