2020 Palau 20$ Tiffany Art Metropolis - Isfahan Ag

This beautiful 3 oz silver coin belongs to the well-known “Tiffany Art” series that is dedicated to the Iranian architecture, in this case, it is Imam Square in Ishafan.

Naqsh-e Jahan Square, or better known as Imam Square, is one of the most famous attractions that is located at the center of Isfahan, Iran. This place has great historical significance and belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

The coin reverse features the image of the Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque that is situated on the east side of the city square. It has magnificent arches and tile work and that is why it attracts a lot of visitors every year. The artful Tiffany-style glass is beautifully integrated into this design behind the typical Islamic latticework window screen. The obverse of the coin portrays an interior view showing the architectural style of the Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque. There is also the shield emblem of Palau. The Tiffany glass window is visible with the lattice screen of the exterior causing the effect that is pleasing to the eye.

The diameter of the coin is 55 mm. It is decorated with a wonderful glass insert. Note that the mintage is limited to 999 pieces for global distribution!
